Novak Djoković has been under attack from the world public since he announced that he would fly to Australia. The thesis about Djoković's anti-vaccine attitudes was constructed from nothing, and instead of fighting for the title in Melbourne, he was tortured for 11 days and had to prove his innocence in court. 

As it usually happens, the mighty pushed their story to the end and Djoković was deported. The former 66th tennis player of the world, Russian Ekaterina Bychkova, is of the opinion that those were shady dealings.

- I do not believe that the player who aimed to win the Australian Open and brought a group of experts with him had not prepared all the necessary documentation before the trip. It's some kind of a game. I don't understand what's going on. There is no sense in Djoković being the target because he travelled there with medical exemption, and he is not the only one who entered the country that way. Do I think this thing was staged? Yes  - the Russian pointed out.

- It is difficult for Novak to just travel to Australia and fly for 20 hours… That is not done, I do not believe that Djoković is an anti-vaxer, he just said that every person should have the right to choose. They did not give a choice there, now there is practically no choice in any country. Maybe he wanted to be a symbol of that fight - the tennis player says. 

The Russian is aware of Novak's fight against the system, which is a thorn in the side of many, so they would like to see him retired.

- In short, a very obscure game took place in Australia. There is no sympathy for Novak in this, nor negativity for Australia and the government of that country, it is just not clear what exactly happened. Such situations must not happen at this level. These are behind-the-scenes activities. And that situation with the US Open when he was disqualified was absolutely crazy and unbelievable. So, I do not rule out the possibility that his status as a fighter for the rights of the disenfranchised and the founder of the new tennis union plays a role. It is possible that they will try to remove him and send him into retirement. This is not a fact, but it is possible as an option. Novak opposes the system and it usually doesn't end well, even for strong guys like him - Bychkova concluded.
