(VIDEO) BARE BREASTED STRIKE AGAINST PUTIN: A group of women undressed in protest against the war in Ukraine

In front of the Eiffel Tower 50 women from a group lit yellow and blue torches and painted their bare breasts in the colors of the Ukrainian flag.

With the banners "Putin is a war criminal" and "Stop Putin's war", the activists responded to the crisis in Ukraine in their own way. The action was carried out by the radical protest group Femen, a women's movement that was founded in a country that is currently under siege by Russian forces.

The organization has established factions around the world, all giving their statements about feminist campaigns, and following the mantra “our weapon(s) are our bare breasts!”.

Speaking exclusively to the Daily Star, one of the members of the group in Paris, Juella, explained what forces "normal" women to take to the streets in naked protest.

- It’s a way to have good visibility. In the beginning we were not topless, and it was not working that much. Now though, the group’s “sextremism” tactics are capturing the public’s attention - she said.

- It is really the feminine way of doing it, we are considering that our weapons are our bodies - she continued.
