During a session of the Council for Strategic Development and National Projects, which also discussed the problem of illegal landfills in Russian cities, Putin directly asked the minister.

- I would like to hear from you: Who in your ministry is specifically dealing with this problem? Can you tell me that person's last name? Who? - Putin asked for an answer. 

Kozlov replied that three people were dealing with the problem.

- So, you have appointed three people who work in your ministry. Who is the main one, who bears personal responsibility for that - Putin specified.

Kozlov said that he also bears the responsibility, as a minister.

- You are responsible for everything in the ministry. Who is in this area? Who is responsible - Putin asked again, disagreeing with the Minister, who replied that his deputy Murad Kerimov was dealing with this specific problem.

 

 

The President of Russia supported the proposal of the Minister of Natural Resources that it is necessary for the heads of the region to take personal responsibility for the elimination of illegal landfills.
