Iliev on Pirlo as the coach of Partizan: He is our third option!

Certain Belgrade media published a sensational piece of news. Namely, the have released the information about the negotiations between the football club Partizan Belgrade and the legendary Italian football player Andrea Pirlo for the position of coach of the vice-champion of Serbia.

The former two-time European champion with Milan and the winner of the World Cup with "the Blues" is staying in Belgrade due to promoting a football camp, and Ivica Iliev, the sports director of the Black and Whites, spoke about the former midfielder potentially coming to the club from Humska Street.

- Pirlo can be an option only if Carlo Ancelotti rejects us. We are waiting for him first. Maybe we should try with José Mourinho. He is also a great name in the world of coaching - Iliev joked in an interview with "Informer".

As a reminder, "the Steamroller'" is looking for a coach after the departure of Aleksandar Stanojević, and if the new manager does not arrive by the beginning of the summer conditioning program, the team will be led by Igor Duljaj.
