Russian political philosopher, sociologist, geopolitician and founder of the idea of a neo-Eurasianism, Aleksandr Dugin, who is considered to have a great influence on the foreign policy of Russia and President Vladimir Putin, pointed out that his country has a "huge debt" to Serbia.

Dugin stated that the first walls of Eurasia were built in Serbia.

- Serbs are the only people in Europe who fought against the Western Empire. When the Western thalassocracy rushed towards our borders like a storm, a shield and a flag of freedom were then raised on the Serbian mainland. The first walls of Eurasia were erected in Serbia. Košare are the Thermopylae of Eurasia. The Serbs took the blows that were intended for us - the Russian political philosopher pointed out.

Dugin emphasised that Russia owes Serbia the return of Kosovo, and that it must repay that debt in the near future.

- Our debt to the Serbs is huge. If the Serbs had not opposed the West, the minds inside the Kremlin would not have awakened in time and Putin's Russia would have been late. We owe Kosovo to the Serbs. To make Kosovo Serbian again: that is the historical and moral duty of Russia. We have our Kulikovo field, the Serbs have their Kosovo field. But in spirit it is one and the same field where we will meet and defeat the enemy in the last battle on Earth - Dugin concluded, as reported by N portal.
