Prime Minister of Serbia pointed out that the possibility of introducing COVID passes should be seen motivating measure to improve the vaccination rates.

- The topic of introducing COVID passes is still up for discussion, which would be used motivating measure to stimulate the younger population to get vaccinated and I talked about this during my current stay in New York. This is not a measure that can protect you from getting infected, as you can also get infected outdoors, however, it is a motivating measure. This is why I appeal, plead, count on citizen solidarity - Brnabić said when answering the press questions after her address at the General Assembly of the UN.

She pointed out that we should ask ourselves about the boundaries of human freedom and what they would entail in today's world and living conditions, in addition to the fact that theses instances need to be re-examined.

- I do not have an answer and this is really a question for philosophers and sociologists, humanity will deal with these questions in the future. What I think about this and what I rely on is personal responsibility and seriousness, I rely on citizen solidarity. I still believe in open conversation, education and appealing to people.  At this point, more than 53 per cent of Serbian population was vaccinated, 77 per cent of vaccinated population in the central municipalities of Belgrade, this being the goal for the rest of Serbia - Serbian Prime Minister said.

Brnabić steted that the very low level of only 21.5 per cent vaccinated among the younger population between 18 and 30 years of age is humanly devastating.

- My nephews have been vaccinated, show that you believe in this, and that it is safe - this was the message that the Prime Minister wanted to send out.
