Petro Poroshenko pointed out that Ukrainian forces will not give up.
Former President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko called the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin a "war criminal" and stated that Ukraine will continue to fight.
Poroshenko said that the Ukrainian forces will not give up, and that it is estimated that the Russian troops are about 25 miles (about 40 kilometers) away from Kyiv.
- Please, do not trust Putin, do not trust Russia. I think Putin is a war criminal. He is crazy - Poroshenko said in an interview with CNN in Kyiv.

He said that, although the Ukrainian forces have less and less ammunition, they do not intend to give up.
- We do not forgive Putin for such things and I am absolutely convinced that we will fight in every house, every street and every neighbourhood, in Kyiv, in Kharkiv ... in all cities we will make hell for Russian soldiers and in the end for Putin - said Poroshenko.
He said that "only five nations support Russia", while 141 countries support Ukraine, referring to the vote in the UN General Assembly on the "Russian invasion".
Poroshenko expressed confidence that Ukraine would "bring an end to the Russian Empire".
