COVID PASSES TO BE CANCELLED! No more obligatory face masks, work from home, self-isolation ...

All COVID-19 restrictions provided by the so-called plan B, including wearing masks, ceases in England on 26 January, and mandatory self-isolation for people with COVID-19 on 24 March.

Boris Johnson announced the end of all COVID-19 measures introduced to combat the omicron variant from next week, including the mandatory wearing of face masks in public transport and stores, work from home and vaccination certificates.

- From tomorrow, we will no longer request face masks in classrooms, and the Ministry of Education will soon cancel the national guidelines on their use in common areas - Johnson said and added:

- Across the country, we will continue to suggest the use of face masks indoors or in crowded spaces, especially when you come in contact with people you don't normally meet - but we will trust the British assessment and will no longer criminalise anyone who chooses not to wear them - said the British Prime Minister.

Johnson also pointed out that the legal requirement for people with the Coronavirus to self-isolate will end when the regulations expire on 24 March and that the date could be postponed.

The rapid change in strategy was interpreted as Johnson's attempt to appease conservative MPs who are seeking responsibility for reports of parties that violated quarantine, Sputnik writes.
