The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, sent words of support to Novak Djoković after it was decided that our tennis player would be deported from Australia. This message was also conveyed by the BBC. 

Vučić published this piece of information on a story on his account @buducnostsrbijeav.

The message sent by the president to Djoković could be heard by viewers around the world, considering that the BBC is followed in many countries.

As a reminder, the President sent words of support to our tennis player after voting in the referendum.

- I talked to Novak a while ago, and I encouraged him, and I told him that I can't wait for him to come to Serbia and return to his country, and to be where he is always welcome. To harass the best tennis player for 11 days, and to only then give him the verdict you made on the very first day - the President said after casting his vote.
