Nikola Jokić cannot stay away from his horses!

On the day when the Serbian national basketball team played against Belgium in Niš in the last match of this phase of the World Cup 2023 qualifiers, the best NBA basketball player was at the Belgrade hippodrome, with the racing horses from his "Dream Catcher" stable. Jokić will join his teammates for the European Championship.

This week, the jubilee 100th Serbian Galloping Derby was held near Careva Ćuprija, and his two horses, ridden by Vladimir Pribić, a trainer at Nikola's stable, took part in two races.

As soon as he appeared at the Belgrade Hippodrome, Nikola immediately caught the eye of everyone present, especially the children.

So the little ones immediately took pens and paper from their parents to get an autograph from the Denver ace, but also their phones to take pictures as a souvenir. The most persistent ones have succeeded, while others would have to wait for another opportunity.

Apart from the children, Jokić also hung out with the actor Petar Strugar. The two of them had a friendly chat before the "Belgrade mile" race, in which Nikola's horse Harley D Energy was racing. Not long after, the horse named Charisma Spritz also took to the track.
