I know Matej well and I claim again that he never, ever used narcotics. I am shocked by the information that appeared in the media that they bought speed on the way to Belgrade. If it is from the investigation, then how does it appear a month and ten days after his disappearance - said Nenad Periš, the father of the missing Matej Periš from Split, after Pink announced that his son and his friends had bought the drug speed on their way to Belgrade.

He told Telegraf.rs that he was shocked by this information and that it was not accurate.

- Apparently, my son is to blame for his disappearance. I repeat, I am only interested in the truth, whatever it may be. No one ever told me that Matej had a habit of disappearing for 15 hours. Well, I guess as a father I would have to know that, I guess someone would look for him. My son had many plans for the future and all this seems unacceptable to me - claims Periš.

What the father wants to know is who gave the police information about speed.

- I have been in Belgrade since day one. None of his friends mentioned to me that they stopped to buy narcotics. All this seems like a movie to me - Periš said.

According to the desperate father, he still remains in Belgrade.

- I have no need to go anywhere until I find my son in any condition. The Croatian police were in Belgrade again and they told me that the investigation is still ongoing. I want an answer to two questions - whether Matej was alone near the Sava and how they explain why two and a half hours later his phone signal was found near the Great War Island - Periš says.

Matej Periš (27) from Split, who disappeared during the night between 30 and 31 December last year. Police are still investigating. At the end of last week, Croatian inspectors arrived in Belgrade to exchange information with colleagues from Serbia.
