IT IS DIFFICULT FOR NOVAK TO RESIST TEMPTATION: The whole world has turned against Djoković!

Canadian tennis coach Rob Steckley talked about the first tennis player in the world, Novak Djoković, and his courageous decision not to be vaccinated.

- I have the utmost respect for Novak Djoković. I want to underline that. Many attacked him fiercely because of the Australian affair, without knowing all the details of the story. The fact that he did not want to give up on his principles created a couple of problems for him, but I never questioned his genius. And I gained a lot of respect after listening to his story in Australia - Steckley said.

The former coach of Denis Shapovalov and Lucie Safarova continued along the same line.

-  Novak and Rafa achieved many successes, primarily because they remained true to their beliefs. They are in a special phase of their career and they do not want to do things differently. The fact that he did not get vaccinated was a high price for Djoković to pay, because he was not able to win the tenth trophy at the Australian Open. Nole does not want to be vaccinated against Coronavirus and has no intention of negotiationg about it.

- I have a different position regarding that, but I cannot dispute that it is a brave decision. It is not easy for athletes of that caliber to stay true to their principles. The whole world turned against him, and he lost a great opportunity in Melbourne - Rob said.
