Croatian handball player Denis Tot died after being beaten up in front of a nightclub in North Macedonia.

He succumbed to his injuries at a hospital in Skopje, where the doctors were trying to save his life.

Although there had initially been conflicting information on whether Tot was beaten up or ended up in the hospital for another reason, that dilemma was solved.

A video from security cameras appeared on social media, showing a group beating the Croat. 

First, a guy punched him in the head, after which Tot was left lying motionless on the ground, and then several vicious kicks to the head followed. One girl stood out the most, who continued trying to hit Denis even after those gathered were attempting to help him, one of them being the guy who hit him first.
