NOLE IS NO LONGER NUMBER ONE: The latest tennis list published!

Novak Djoković is, as expected, near the top of this ranking. No less than the fifth place for the previous year, and as researchers report, during the recent events in Melbourne, he received almost the same number of negative messages in just a few days as for the whole of 2021.

Japanese Naomi Osaka received the title of the most attacked tennis player  due to her desire not to appear in front of the media, because she wanted to show care for her mental health by avoiding all kinds of journalistic questions.

Her gesture was widely condemned by fans around the world, so she was sent as many as 32,415 comments in which hatred was expressed. In second place is her rival Serena Williams, although she did not perform at all during most of the season.

The third and fourth on the list are British tennis players, Andy Murray, Emma Raducanu, and our Novak Djoković came in fifth with 8,439 hate tweets. It is shocking that the best tennis player in the world already has an additional 7,354 offensive tweets between 4 and 10 January, at a time when his fight to compete at the AO in Melbourne was going on.
