- In order to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the establishment of Jasenovac, a system of concentration and death camps, and to honour the renewal of the Jasenovac monastery complex, Milorad Dodik and I have agreed on the construction of a large memorial centre in Nova Gradina. This should be an all-Serbian sanctuary in which we would invest a lot of funds, 80 per cent funded by Serbia and 20 per cent by the Republic of Srpska. Serbian people remember and are not ashamed of their victims - stated the President.
