A bizarre incident happened in India when a woman was bitten by a snake in her house.
Her husband then caught the venomous snake and put it in a bottle, and then took his wife to the hospital, together with the bottle.
The woman was admitted to the hospital where she was kept for treatment in the Afzal Nagar area, Times Now News reports.
When the doctors asked her husband Ramendra Yadav why he took the snake with him, he had a practical explanation.
- What if you ask me which snake had bitten my wife. I brought the snake so that you could see for yourself - he said.

The incident happened in the early hours of last Friday in the Afzal Nagar area, and Yadav later told reporters that he would release the snake into the forest after his wife was released from the hospital. He added that he drilled holes in the plastic bottle so that the venomous snake could breathe.
