PUTIN HAS ALREADY ISSUED AN ORDER: A bleak future awaits foreign agents in Russia

- Stop talking nonsense, especially during the period of a special operation and unlimited anti-Russian sanctions. And at the legislative level, a more precise classification and stricter liability of foreign agents should be introduced - Medvedev wrote in his Telegram channel.

According to him, the appropriate bill has already been submitted to the State Duma. Medvedev called for the activities of foreign agents in Russia to be "put under strict controls and become transparent to our society."

Earlier, the State Duma proposed to change part 2 of Article 207.3 of the Russian Criminal Code and toughen the punishment for foreign agents for disinformation about the army.

Russian President Vladimir Putin has ordered the Russian Justice Ministry, the Prosecutor General’s Office and the Russian Presidential Council for Civil Society and Human Rights to analyse the country’s foreign agent legislation by May 1, including the ways to remove non-profit organisations acting as foreign agents from the foreign agent list.
