The captain of the Serbian national team, Dušan Tadić, broke the record for the number of assists in a calendar year.
The best football player of the Dutch club thus broke the ten-year-old record of Lionel Messi, since the Argentine registered 36 assists in 2011, which was the highest ever in one calendar year.
During 2021, Dušan Tadić assisted his teammates in scoring 37 goals, both in the Ajax jersey and in the Serbian national team.
Tadić could further improve his performance, as he will play two more games by the end of 2021.
