Disaster in the making! Djoković will not be playing in the US Open - will he be banned from entering the US?

Serbian tennis player Novak Djoković was recently eliminated from Roland Garros in the quarterfinals by Rafael Nadal in four sets, 6-2, 4-6, 6-2, 7-6(4). The Spaniard was later dominant and earned his 14th trophy in Paris.

The reason for concern is the fact that the authorities in the USA do not intend to ease the measures when it comes to vaccinations against Coronavirus, "Yahoo sport" reports. This means that Novak would be banned from entering that country because he was not vaccinated.

Due to the same thing, Nole was banned from participating in the Australian Open at the beginning of this year and it seems as though a  similar fate awaits him for the US Open.

We hope that by the end of August, there will be some changes so that Novak can play in New York as an unvaccinated person. Because, as things stand now, it is unlikely that Djoković will be vaccinated, but who knows ...
